If signing up for a course in your chosen field is a good beginning, completing that course and proceeding to graduation has to be the proverbial 'feather in the cap'.
Graduating at Wintec is regarded with the distinction it deserves and every graduand at Wintec is noted in the Wintec Graduation book. This year's edition, designed by Sarah White of Wintec, contains reference to over 1550 students, all of whom will be able to reflect on 2010 with pride and keep their memories alive with their own copy of the book. Sarah graduated from Wintec with a Media Arts Degree in 2008 and, as recipient of a Print House Excellence Award at the Media Arts Special Awards evening, was also awarded a Print House internship and cash grant. It is great to see that Sarah has been given the opportunity to use the skills acquired at Wintec to produce a high quality design project such as this. Supplied to Print House as a print ready PDF file, the 92 page book has been printed in full 4-colour process throughout with a protective matt seal to prevent marking and a spot gloss overprint enhancing the photography. A matt laminate and clever use of embossing gives the plain blue cover a touch of finesse while the specialised PUR binding adds a durable, long lasting, flexible spine. Sarah said, "I've worked with Print House for two years now and they've been great to deal with. Our 2010 graduation programme which they printed was no exception.
