Wintec commit to making a difference Print House Ltd

Media Arts Brochure As the second largest tertiary education facility in the Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Taranaki regions, Wintec's reputation as a leading provider of high quality applied, vocational and professional qualifications is one which the organisation strives to uphold.
The Wintec School of Media Arts boasts a vast range of media courses, information for which is published in a 44 page A4 brochure printed by Print House.
The funky cover image was developed by Verdict Communications as a brand for the School.
Designer Sarah White of the Wintec Marketing Department has incorporated this brand when compiling the brochure which has proven to be appealing to the young adults it targets.
Generating a positive, energetic image with the design is only part of the equation for what is special about this project though.
Wintec is one of the first of our clients to take advantage of the opportunity to use Print House's PEFC logo which certifies the product as being printed on paper sourced from sustainably managed forest and controlled sources.
Having implemented operational and systems procedures to meet the strict criteria for becoming a PEFC and FSC certified printer, Print House is excited to learn of Wintec's preference for purchasing environmentally sustainable products.
Cass Green, Wintec Marketing and Advertising Coordinator comments, "At Wintec, one of our main goals is sustainability and a big part of that is ensuring that we're environmentally sustainable.
"We're proud to be one of the first organisations in the Waikato to apply the logo certifying the stock used is from sustainable forests. We've had fantastic feedback from staff and students about the look and feel of our brochures so we plan to use more sustainable stock in the future."
Print House congratulates Wintec on making a conscious effort to learn about what is beneficial to the environment and making the commitment to make a difference.
