Welcome to our first issue of Printing Plus for 2010.
I trust you have all had the benefit of a restful Christmas/New Year break and are now back in full swing with the projects you are undertaking. This summer has seen Print House heavily involved in a number of sporting code sponsorships and following on from the Tua vs Cameron fight in November we have added Northern Districts Cricket, Frankton Athletics and the Waikato Football Club to the list of organisations we assist. With regards to the cricket we have recently witnessed some exciting results in the Twenty/20 and one day internationals between Australia and the Black Caps and I'm sure that this will help entice cricket supporters to Hamilton for the upcoming one day and test match internationals to be held here this month. Print House is also involved in the up-coming boxing event David "Tuamanator" Tua vs Friday "The 13th" Ahunanya set down for March 31st. With last year's two round knock-out of Shane Cameron still fresh in mind, I have a feeling Tua is up for this challenge and his quest to take the world heavyweight title... I hope this fight lasts a little longer though :-) In the meantime it is work as usual at Print House and although our production capacity has not been heavily challenged due to reduced sales demand over recent months, our quality and turnaround remain consistent. Browsing through this issue you will notice we have been producing our fair share of books covering a variety of topics. It is always a pleasure to be involved with the production of local history publications and the Foreman volume adds to that category with an insightful and somewhat amusing account of our local plastics manufacturers. It is equally pleasing to be printing work written by our colleague Marilyn Bakker. For those of you who have young children, I recommend Marilyn's book as an entertaining bedtime story. We introduce a new company formed in 2009 - Salon Bright. They have a great new product on the market and some fantastic printed products to support their brand. Remember, at Print House we have a great team all working towards a similar goal - high quality, good turnaround and value-added service. We look forward to working with you throughout 2010. Yours in print,
