Brett Phillips Welcome to issue 65 of Printing Plus - the last issue of the Print House newsletter for 2011.
With the lead-in to Christmas well and truly in motion, most of us are looking forward to the summer break.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank our dedicated team at Print House for their continued attention to customer service and quality production.
Although Print House will be closed over Christmas (see detailed information on page 4), our production team will be on skeleton shifts throughout the Christmas/New Year period for pre-arranged projects.
If you are likely to be in need of our services during the holiday period please get in touch with us prior to the 16th of December so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
While 2011 has definitely not been one of our busiest years, it has possibly been our most adventurous year for innovation since our start-up in the 1980's.
Initiating The Best Little Book Store late in 2010 has added a new dimension to our book publishing in 2011. The Waikato District Health Board project profiled on page 7 is a good example of our capabilities in this area.
However, it is the introduction of Video-in-PrintĘ to New Zealand that has been the pinnacle of our year. We are extremely fortunate to be handling such an innovative product at a time when its take-up is accelerating world-wide.
Leading American, European and Russian brands are using this technology extensively for their marketing and communication.
The applications for Video-in-PrintĘ are limitless and people, without exception, have been 'wowed; when they discover what can be achieved using this technology.
Now, with out first orders in progress, Video-in-PrintĘ and our multisensory products are an exciting extension to our product range and services.
In this issue of Printing Plus we have some team news to share (page 5); we profile the Waikato District Health Board's 125 year celebration publication which was launched on the 6th of December, and we also have an article about an astute young pre-schooler who already seems to understand what networking is all about.
In winding up I would like to thank all of our loyal clients for your continued support and wish each and every one of you a very Happy Christmas and Prosperous New Year.
Yours in print,
Brett Phillips, CEO of Print House
