Print House often receives compliments on the high level of service and quality provided to its clients.The Taharoa C Block Annual Report and Financial Statements project is just one example of the Print House service and quality philosophy in action. The project involved two separate documents, each requiring to be in shareholders' hands prior to the Annual Meeting with plenty of time for shareholders to have an opportunity to return their proxy forms which were part of the Annual Report document. Turnaround time for printing was unusually tight due to circumstances beyond the control of project designers, Bettle Advertising who worked closely with Print House to coordinate a manageable outcome. In the event, the digital file for the 52 page Financial Statements was initially received by Print House at 9am on 'delivery day'. However, with accountants making amendments throughout the morning the Print House prepress team needed to be on-call for action to ensure the final proofs were ready for sign off at noon. From sign off approval only four hours remained in which to produce the document and have it in the mail on time. Defying the odds, 600 copies were printed, collated, bound, enveloped, addressed and in the mail by 5 o'clock that same night... simply fantastic! The text pages were printed in single colour while the cover utilised 4-colour process. The 20 page Annual Report is punctuated with stunning photography of native New Zealand bird life and printed in 4 colour process throughout. As mentioned the document incorporates a proxy form which was perforated and scored enabling it to be detached and folded for mailing.
To complete the Annual Report a Gloss UV Kote was applied to the cover which lends life to the soft green feathers of the Tui in the photo and makes an attractive presentation.
